Polygraph Lie Test
Infidelity, abuse, dishonesty
In matrimonial / fidelity cases, the examiner would prefer to talk with the partner and the person taking the test - together. The issue will be reviewed in detail, and then the questions for the test will be carefully set and precisely worded to avoid any possible ambiguity or misunderstanding. It is important that the clients understand that a maximum of three relevant questions will be asked for each issue in order to prove or disprove an issue. A limit like this actually keeps the test specific, tightly defined, and accurate.
The partner cannot be in the room when the actual test is conducted because we cannot measure what effect this will have on the person taking the test. Our examiner is happy to discuss the outline of the questions with the partner by phone before the test.
Sometimes, dependant on duration of pregnancy, examiners are able to test pregnant ladies. If you are pregnant, please advise us. The minimum age is 14 years old.
It is important that the subject is in a fit state to be tested. We ask that the subject to be tested consumes no alcohol on the day of the test and also no drugs for 24 hours prior to the test unless these have been prescribed or purchased from a pharmacy.
Prescribed medication may be relevant and our examiner will need to know what medicines are being taken at the time particularly if the subject has issues relating to heart rate or blood pressure. Please contact us to discuss this if you have any concerns.
Of course, the test cannot be done without due written consent from the subject. Once the test has been done the results are confidential to the subject. It is the subject’s data - for him/her to share or not, with who they want/allow.
We won’t get involved with divulging any such confidential information unless we are specifically instructed or allowed by the subject, in writing.
Do contact us if you have any questions.
